About AKPsi
Alpha Kappa Psi is the world's oldest and largest professional business fraternity. Established in 1904, the Founding Fathers, also known as the "Brooklyn Four," created an association founded on the principles of educating its members and the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of members during college and beyond.

Since then, the fraternity has expanded to include over 250,000 lifetime members from 216 chapters throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Canada. Recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders, Alpha Kappa Psi continuously strives to build a strong bond of brotherhood and foster lifelong learning amongst its members.
Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing ethical leadership and professional development. Through educational programs, community service, and hands-on-application of formal education, Alpha Kappa Psi students use the business skills they are taught in the classroom to acquire life skills such as the art of compromise, consensus building, project management, interviewing, and networking.
Omega Epsilon Chapter
Pepperdine AKPsi, officially the Omega Epsilon chapter, is one of the many chapters representing the national business fraternity of Alpha Kappa Psi. Founded in 2008, the chapter is a proud producer of principled business leaders of Pepperdine students. In 1904, Alpha Kappa Psi was founded on the principles of educating its members and the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of members during college and beyond. It is still the oldest and largest professional business fraternity in the nation with more than 300 chapters in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Hong Kong and nearly 260,000 initiated members worldwide

What is Pledging?Pledging is a 7-week professional development period where potential members as "pledges" are contested upon. What determines who gets a pledge invitation? We assess candidates based on their leadership potential, teamwork abilities, professionalism, and their openness to growth. Additionally, we take into account social compatibility and how well candidates align with the values and members of our organization.
